ACT Alliance is a coalition of 150 churches and church-related organisations working together in over 125 countries to create positive and sustainable change in the lives of poor and marginalized people regardless of their religion, politics, gender, sexual orientation, race or nationality in keeping with the highest international codes and standards. ACT Alliance is a global alliance of World Council of Churches (WCC) and Lutheran World Federation (LWF) member churches and related organizations committed to working ecumenically. CARD is the permanent member of ACT (Action by Churches Together) Alliance, since 2010 .This membership opens the opportunity to CARD and the Mar Thoma Church to become more active participants and partners in developmental and relief work in India along with other major Church based NGO’s.
